Projects: SciLab: SciLab is Scitorium's ongoing main project. In collaboration with The Research Council of Norway we have built a hi-tech interactive research laboratory within a 40 foot container. See www.scilab.no. The self-replicating toy: Imagine a toy that collects its own components and makes copies of itself – just like the DNA molecule. Scitorium holds a patent for such systems (patent) and are working to bring them to market. Proof of principle was first published in the journal Entropy (Breivik 2001), and a similar study was recently presented by other researchers in Nature (Griffith 2005). Our patent is also mentioned in a recent paper about nanomedicine and nanorobotics (Freitas 2005). The DNA Laboratory: The DNA Laboratory was the 2004 forerunner to SciLab, also developed in collaboration with The Research Council of Norway. See video. Scitorium cards: Scitorium cards is a new trading card game based on real organisms and real knowledge. Currently only availabel in SciLab. ONS2004: Scitorium developed content and presentation of Statkraft's stand during the 2004 oil exhibition in Norway. CityJungel: CityJungel is Scitorium's vision for a science edutainment center – currently at the conceptual stage. Cartoons: In 2004 Scitorium developed 16 pages of scientific edutainment for Norway's dominating cartoon magazine, Donald Duck & Co.
